Will it fit? Know before you build your bay
Most home golf simulator dreams die on one number: the ceiling. Right behind it are the two no one measures until the net arrives — depth and width. SimBayHQ exists to answer one question honestly, before you spend a dollar: will it fit your room?
What we do
We turn published manufacturer setup guidance into a single tool — the Sim Room Fit Checker — that takes your ceiling height, depth, and width and tells you which launch monitors fit, which are a tight squeeze, and what to build. Then we back it up with room-by-room breakdowns, spec-for-spec launch monitor comparisons, and a curated gear list covering everything from nets and mats to enclosure kits.
What we don't do
We don't pretend a planning number is a guarantee. Every fit verdict on this site repeats the same hedge: confirm against your unit's manual, and rehearse a slow swing with your longest club in the actual space before buying anything. A few inches of duct or a low garage-door rail can veto a room a chart says is fine.
How we stay independent
SimBayHQ is reader-supported through affiliate links — we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Those commissions never change a fit verdict or a recommendation. Read the full methodology and affiliate disclosure for exactly how that works.
